CU Buffs Take Down Utah 60-50

The first post of Buff Watch celebrates Colorado’s 60-50 win over Utah in a Pac-12 showdown. The Buffs had to play without standout freshman Josh Scott, who continues to be day-to-day following a concussion received during CU’s heartbreaking loss to Arizona State last week. Andre Roberson continued his assault on the CU rebounding record book as became only the 2nd Buff ever to grab more than 1000 rebounds in his career. He grabbed 13 rebounds to go along with his 10 points, giving him 36 double doubles in his career. Spencer Dinwiddie scored a game high 13 points to lead the Buffs. The Buffs hit the road to the Bay Area this week to take on Stanford and a Cal team on a torrid streak. The following week, the Buffs host Oregon and Oregon State to close out the regular season. The Pac-12 tournament will be held at MGM Grand's Garden Arena in Las Vegas from March 13th to the 16th. The Buffs hope to repeat last year's run to the tourney title and the automatic berth to the NCAA's.
